Play The Changes

In this short 2D platformer demo, you switch between the roles of player and designer on a fast-paced timer cycle. Every 6 seconds, the roles reverse. In play mode, you take control of your character and get as far as you can. In build mode, you can place up to 5 blocks to assist your character in your next sprint.

This was made for GMTK Game Jam 2023.

Use WASD or the arrow keys to move, click the mouse to place tiles, press Q to quit, and press R to restart if necessary.
